Nigeria Info fm organises meet & greet event to re-engage stakeholders

Poised to retain its top ranking in the radio segment in Nigeria, Nigeria Info fm today organized a Meet & Greet event where major stakeholders in the media and advertising industry freely interacted with management and prominent On Air Personalities at the wave making station.

The event which held at Protea Hotels Ikeja was designed to help reposition the radio station in the minds of its numerous stakeholders in the media buying and planning industry as well reenergise its revenue drive .

The event was also meant to educate and enlightened the stakeholders and keep them abreast of the various programmes of the station which is regarded as the number one talk, news and sport station in the country.

Group Managing Director of AIM Group, owners of Nigeria Info, Mr. Amin Moussali said that the station was established to meet the needs of Nigerians, stressing that the station was created to fill the gaps in areas where others stations could not cover.

Moussali noted that the station primarily focused on covering basically talks, news and sports, adding that it was the first station that began talk by engaging with the audiences with a touch of entertainment and fun.

According to him, “We decided to focus on talks because we found out that Nigerians love to talk. We cover the majority of the audience since we started operations five years ago. Other areas of our focus are news and sports because we know that most Nigerians love sport”

Speaking in the same vein, Director, Marketing and Business Development, Mrs. Venus Bande said that Nigerians are the ones pioneering the show during every radio programme in the station.
Bande assured media planning practitioners that Nigeria Info was the best station to push out their brands to their teeming consumers in order to boost the sales of the products of their clients.

She said: ”Today’s forum is to tell our stakeholders including the media buying and planning agencies and media independent about what we do and the fact that we are taken seriously by the Nigerian audience.

“We have consistently been rated as the number four most listened to radio station in Nigeria. We want to use this forum to educate them that this is who we are and this is the direction that you should take if you are looking for the top of mind awareness for your clients brands,” she said.
